David praiseth God for his deliverance. (A Psalm and Song at the dedication of the house of David.)
)I will extol thee, O LORDLord; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.
)O LORDLord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
)O LORDLord, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave:; thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
)Sing unto the LORDLord, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
)For his anger endurethkindleth butagainst the wicked; they repent, and in a moment; it is turned away, and they are in his favourfavor, isand he giveth them life:; therefore, weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
)And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.
)LORDLord, by thy favourfavor thou hast made my mountain to stand strong:; thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.
)I cried to thee, O LORDLord; and unto the LORDLord I made supplication.
)What profit is there in my blood, whenWhen I go down to the pit?, Shallmy blood shall return to the dust. I will praise thee?; my soul shall it declare thy truth; for what profit am I, if I do it not?
)Hear, O LORDLord, and have mercy upon me:; LORDLord, be thou my helper.
)Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing:; thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
)To the end that my soul may give glory mayto thy name, and sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORDLord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for everforever.
